Paintball with Cozins

My cousins came down from Ipoh last friday morning. Went and fetched them from the bus station in the morning at 11. Had one whole day of going around town. Went to Pagoda and Penang Hill. Had coffee at Coffee Bean that night around 10.30. That resulted into the whole gang staying awake till at least 2.30..... Were watching movies on the laptop.
Then came Saturday, we had been talkinng about piantball eversince they came. So we left the house at 9.30 and reached the Paintball place at 10. Made all the enquiries and then we agreed to play. We had to be given a 30 minute talk on the rules of the game and also the do's and dont's in the game.

The game was just so fun although we were dead tired after the game. It was worth every ounce of our energy trying to shoot each other. This game is a must try for everybody.

My Egyptian Holiday

Well, here goes...
Had a one night stop-over in Bahrain on the way to Cairo - the capital of Egypt. Bahrain was a beautiful country. The local city council did a great job in planning the development of their land. The city is just so well organised. By the way, their currency in use there is called Bahrain Dinars(BHD). And if u thought that the British Pound used to be expensive, think again. One Bahrain Dinar gives you approximately TEN Ringgit. The weather was kinda cold in Bahrain. When we arrived, it was 15 Celsius and I was on a single-layer of clothing. Brrrrrrrr!!!! Damn cold!!!!

Next day, off to Egypt. It was equivalent to traveling back in time by some thousands of years. There were monuments everywhere and the city did not have the modern look. First visit, The Cairo Museum. Its a museum that is full of artifacts from the Ancient Egyptian era. It even has the entire collection of the contents of the tomb of King Tutankhamen. Loads of jewellery there. Unfortunately though, cameras were not allowed into the Cairo museum. It is said that if you spend 6 seconds at each piece of artifact, it would take you 7 months to view the museum completely. Now, it will take me 7 months to relate my entire journey there, so here are some pictures.

Egypt has great architecture and history that any country would love to have. Its getting really late now, i need to go get some rest. Enjoy the pictures......

A Long Overdue Post

This is something I learned from my daily dealings in in College this year and I am pretty sure everybody else would agree with what i say below.

~ Never expect anything from anyone...

(The closer you are to someone, the harder and more important it gets).

~ Every man is for himself...

(Even if it was someone you thought of as a friend).

~ Change is good only if it helps yourself...

(Be selfish. Don't change because someone wants you to but do it if it makes you feel better).

~Be YOURSELF

(It might not get you a bunch of friends, but it will find you the people who accept you the way you are).

Just Another Day

Managed to settle all the textbook loan formalities today. I didn't return my student card though... Wanted to keep it as a memory. However, this is the most expensive memorable item i would keep from my education side!!! It cost a whooping 50 bux to keep the damn card!!! Hahaha...
Had some coffee at Coffee Bean today. My sore throat really needed it... Thanks for accompanying me, unknown person... Very kind of you...

Finally, the moment that everyone had been waiting for has arrived - the end of another round of exams. There was no real celebration after exams. Everyone just walked out of the examination hall as usual and headed for their own destinations. Many of whom ended up at GP.
Watched Madagascar at nite.. The name of those animals just dont seem to come out of my head!!! Alex, Melmen.....

Saturday

Got lots of chores done this morning. Its been a long time since i last helped out. Went to Midlands and saw a few familiar faces there (u know what i mean Jenny and Aika). However I was rather afraid to approach them as I was not sure who they were. That was about it for today. Plans for bowling never materialised. :( Boring day at home!!!

Updates For Last Week

Friday Outing 14/11

Had Further Maths paper 1. It was relatively easy compared to the past year papers that I had done. I was really happy with the way I managed to answer the questions. Hence, the reason for going to GP after the paper. Waited for Divea and Ai Chia to fetch me from college, then off to GP. Deciding on lunch was pretty fast this time around. Ordered lunch and had a good time talking.While some other people were busy taking pictures....
After that, we walked around GP for a while then, here comes the fun part. The arcade upstairs!!! Played Daytona twice and purposely crashed into Divea on both occasions just to make her get last place... Hahahaha. Really sorry for that Divea. Then we walked to Divea's car since she was our 'driver' for the day. After a very long long long discussion, we decided to head to Starbucks at Gurney Tower. Had lots of fun and laughter there.

The rest of the days were just plain boring. Busy indulging myself in Further Mechanics & Statistics. The first rays of freedom came after last Monday. That was when Further Maths paper 2 finished. Left with only one more paper ie. Physics!!! Went shopping with mum on Tuesday. Hardly managed to buy anything. :( Wednesday & Thursday were uneventful as i was preparing for Physics on Friday. However, still managed to go to GP on Thursday to catch up with Wen Yang, Ai Chia & Jeremy for a drink at Coffee Bean.

Pierced!!!

Went to Gurney on Friday in the afternoon with Juli and Ai Chia. Went there to pierce my freaking ear. The piercing is only two days old and I am already starting to want to pierce once more. It's kinda cool to get your ear pierced. The piercing really doesn't hurt and it's always good to try something new.

Had loads of fun at Starbucks. The Green Tea at Starbucks was great. Juli was unfortunately the target for the day. She ended up being bullied by me and occasionally by Ai Chia. Sorry Juli. Was a great off day from studies. Had not been to Gurney for like one month already. Just cannot wait for exams to end. Loads of things to be done after exams.

Tricker Treets

Have been rotting and collecting dust at home and college library. Just cannot wait for exams to end. There are so many things to do. Especially on the 21st. Life has been all about books these days. Nothing much happening these days. Except for one weird excursion to Gurney. By the way, Coffee Bean Rocks. Will update more after exams.

Why is Cambridge so crazy???
Setting papers that are extremely difficult and expecting us to finish in time. There is a chance I just blew my A for Pure Maths. If papers continue at this rate, I can say bye-bye to my A's....

I Am Back

Sorry people for this very delayed post. Have been busy with upcoming exams other things. Life's been great over the past few weeks. Having lots of fun in the library. Have been pretty much enjoying the last week of lectures instead of paying attention and actually studying in classes.

Farewell Lunch 10th Oct
Went to dominos on the last day of our lectures for a farewell lunch jointly organised by Ah Beng, Mr. Kits and Anand. Everyone was in formal attire. Sorry no pics. Even our 2 photographers (u know who i am refering too) failed to get their cameras clicking this time. Had a peaceful lunch until everybody was full. All leftovers to our one & only Melvin. You see, he never seems to get full, so we are just helping his cause. Anyways, memories are worth more than a picture could describe.

Besides these activities, mostly in library studying.
Not exactly all the time though. Found some time to go to Food Loft with frens on Tuesday if I am not mistaken. Best part during this lunch was that a so called IMU representative named 'Sally' managed to almost pull of a prank. Wen Yang impersonated a ladies voice, while I, Jeremy and Juli wrote the script and managed to trick Ai Chia. She almost fell for the prank until some idiots on the other table started laughing. That afternoon was just full of laughter. Walked around gurney for a bit (we needed to digest our food). After that got back to college and back to studies.

Friday 17th Oct
Had lunch in dominos again. Had to wait for some time as the waiter had screwed up our order. While waiting, had a long long long chat with jeremy and wen yang. Lots to talk these days huh...
After that got back to library and back to studies. After finally getting tired of studies, decide to go to coffee bean(my idea).
Spent almost 1.5 hours there. Talk... Talk... Talk.... Time really flies these days.
