22nd January - A Long Day

Another long day this would happen to be. Was out almost the whole day. First, went to visit my Alma Mater to get my SPM certificate. Picked up Chong at 10+ and off to SXI. Went around visiting our old teachers. Met Howell who will never change. Then bumped into Mr. Liang, Bio teacher. The moment he saw me, he started complaining that my younger brother never does his Bio homework. *thought to myself* "Did I ever do your homework either." Then met Ms. Mary Ann, and as usual, she started cursing the government for making them come back for Saturday school. She will never change..... Met Pn. Ang, Chemistry teacher. She related one of her moments of fury when she actually threw out a boys school bag out of a class. And Mr. Liang had to say, what would happen if the bag had hit Pn Betty's face. She would probably sue her for it rite. And then, the funniest part, Mr. Liang said that all the school boys wouldn't mind helping Pn. Ang defend the lawsuit from Pn. Betty (the most hated teacher of all time) by contributing RM 1 each towards her Lawyer fees. That was real funny I thought. Met many other teachers and were also made to donate 5 bux as charity to the school. Left school at 11.30. Then Went for lunch at Woodlands.

After lunch, headed to GP again. Went to Starbucks. Had a long long chat with Mr. Chong. And I was really suprised by some of the things that Lin Chong had to say to me when we were having some coffee. I really think such things are not possible Mr. Chong.

After some rest at home, went hiking around 4.30. Picked Chong and the Chipmunk and headed to Youth Park. Ai Chia baked us some cookies. The cookies were lovely, thanks for the cookies =)

Then waited for some other friends to come, then off we went hiking. This time used the ropeway and the stoneway to go to the top. Was really fun climbing up the rope. When we reached the top, had some coffee and rested for a while.

21st January

The much anticipated day where our A-Levels results were to be released by Cambridge. Couldn't sleep well the whole night before as I was so anxious to know the results. Woke up at 7.30 in the morning!!! Then waited till 8 and then, the results were out!!! Was really sad to see such results, however there was nothing else that could be done, so just have to live with it. Then got ready and then off to Disted to get the certified copy of my results. Then off to IDP and Aus-Ed to submit my actual results. Wrapped up all the results thingy by 10.30-11. Then headed back home to reflect back on why I did so badly. Haizh..... Its over already though, so decided to go relax in GP later that day. Met up Chong and Ai Chia in Coffee Bean. We were kinda very sad people there. No mood to talk much too. Then all of a sudden, we decided to go watch a movie. Watched Yes Man. Was a funny movie, but the storyline seemed to be dragged at times. And after the movie is when we people came to life. Finally, we had forgotten about our results and we were happy and talking a lot of rubbish and having fun... Went to Chilis and talked and joked and had fun....

Suprise!!!!

Went to Gurney today to meet up with Lin Chong and Ai Chia. Met up at Swensons. Wonder if the name is spelt correctly*
Had some ice-cream there. Then saw some weird A&W promotion going on. There was a human wearing some A&W costume. Looked weird. After that went upstairs to play some pool. Had loads of fun talking nonsense while walking around and in Swensons. Also met Ruby halfway through playing pool.
And then the surprise!!! Ai Chia and Lin Chong bought me a present for my Birthday although my birthday is only in 4 months time!!! According to them, they will not be seing me during my birthday so they bought in advance. There's no confirmation whether I will be going yet lar. I will only know whether i am leaving in approximately 8 hours time. Anyways thanks a lot for the beautiful choice of colour Ai Chia. You really know peoples taste. And Mr. Chong, I am just speechless...
Thanks a lot for making this a very memorable day.

Penang Hill

On the 13th of Jan, Tuesday: Planned by Juli and Ai Chia, we were supposed to meet up at Ai Chia's house before we start our trip. Woke up at 7.20, got ready. Gave a wake up call to the Chipmunk at 7.30. Then left house to meet up Jeremy, Juli and Ai Chia. Jeremy was slightly late. Wen Yang was to meet us at the Pg. Hill train station as its near his house. Juli drove all of us there. For once I didn't have to drive. Thanks Juli =)
Bought the tickets for our ride up and then had to wait patiently for almost 20 mins. While waiting, those girls started camwhoring... Then cramped ourselves into that train and headed up.
At the top, we just walked around, went to the playground, saw a Mosque and a Temple as well. Not forgetting the Aviary Farm and the Hotel and also some nice Restaurant. As pictures are worth a thousand words, let the pictures do the talking...

All of us had a drink there. While Wen Yang tried negotiating for the Badminton court booking.

After camwhoring at the top to our satisfaction, we headed down at noon. Our stomachs were growling already. So, off to Pizza Hut.

Had a quiet lunch there and then off to Wen Yang's house. His mom still remembers my dad. That was totally unexpected. Was kinda surprised for a moment. By the way, your so called "Kampung House" was very accomodative to all of us. Thanks.
After that, headed back to Ai Chia's house, picked up my car, and then all the guys were off to playing badminton. Bad day for badminton it was, never managed to win much... =(
However, it was a great day and had lots of fun. Thanks everybody. :-)

A Saturday Outing

Got a call from Juli in the Morning asking me to join them for lunch and then watch some movie. So, got ready and say bye-bye to my laptop... Was told to meet Juli and Ai Chia at Svensons for lunch. I was there kinda early, so I decided to go to Parkson and search for some Perfumes. After that, met them for lunch.

Thinking hard, trying to decide what to eat.

After lunch, we decided to go for a stroll in the mini-park outside. Many on lookers thought we were crazy!!! As if we have never been to a park before.

It was almost 2.10 when we about to walk back to Gurney and our movie was at 2.20. So headed to GSC to watch Bedtime Stories. Bugsy was damn cute!!!! Wonder if there are such Guinea Pigs existing in this world or was that just another computer effect??? After our movie, we headed to Coffee Bean. Again, we were up to mischief in Coffee Bean. This time playing around on the phone with Ruby. She was looking for Jeremy, so all of us pretended to be Jeremy and the phone went around in circles...

After coffee, Juli decided to pay Ruby a surprise visit. So, all of us followed her. Sat there for almost one hour. Talked a lot of nonsense. Then, it was getting late as most of us had other things to do, so Bye-Bye. Thanks for having us at your place. After that, went back to Gurney to buy some stationary for my younger bro and sis. And then back home it was.

p.s. Ruby would be a great coach for a football team in Future. Ever heard of the game winning eleven, your brother should know about it.

Was bored at home, so I decided to bake a fruit cake. The first time I baked it last Thursday, it was a disaster. Then had to improvise on the ingredients. And finally...

Happy New Year

Sorry for this very delayed post as I have been busy running errands and baking cakes. The year 2008 has just passed. It was a year full of ups and downs and also a year where many new friends were made. Hope the year 2009 will bring a lot more surprises and many more friends. 2009 will be the year many people of my age either make it or break it. And I hope the latter does not happen to be the case. Wishing everybody Good Health and Wealth. May the year 2009 be better than the happening 2008 and bring prosperity and joy to you and your family.
